Cappadocia/ Santorini / Istanbul - Day 2
Hot Air Balloon
Woke up super super early in the morning to catch our hot air balloon tour.
Can't rmb what time it was..see la, the cons of blogging only one year later. lol
Booked our activities for the day with True Blue Tour.
We paid 310 Euros for 2 pax - includes Hot Air Balloon and day tour to several places as follows.
The tour minivan brought us to somewhere for breakfast and then to the flying site.
Many many balloons about to inflate.
20 people in a basket, so squeezy sian.
Our very first hot air balloon experience.
It was awesome overseeing the valley and all! but not as scary as we thought.
champagne and snacks to celebrate the landing. lol
Still got cert one!
Ihlara Valley
Our next stop.
Magnificent!
Miss strolling by the stream with the boy.
It was then he held my hand and played the songs
"Can you feel the love tonight" and
"Have I told you lately that I love you"
He asked me if the songs got feel,
and I said yes. without giving it much thought.
Never did I expect that there could be more, to these 2 songs.
To be continued on day 5.
He said must go back and tell people we saw the famous chicken by the river.
I was like "Semo famous ji?" LOL.
Still remember his rubbish even after one year. haha
So peaceful.
Had lunch here! Included in the tour.
love.
Derinkuyu Underground City
Had the opportunity to visit the amazing discovery.
Many many many years ago, the Turkish people actually lived underground to hide from the war.
They had rooms, school, church, toilet, everything there!
Can you imagine the area that they had to dig?
Felt abit claustrophobic in there.
Had to take the squeezy stairs,
once taken cannot turn back kind lolol.
Abit scary, but special experience.
The tour guide will explain each area.
quite a number of tour groups as well.
Not much pic, everywhere orh lu lu.
Fresh pomegranate juice.
whose phototaking skills so good, the juice fly one.
Monastry
Another special place.
The monks used to live there.
Every area has a purpose, bedroom, kitchen, etc.
The view from the monastry.
That was the kitchen, thats why black black from the fire.
Pigeon Valley
Now you know why the name.
The Rose Valley, red red one.
End of tour!
Had lamb for dinner yummy!!
So authentic right, the restaurant.
Our room for second night.
Zumrut room at Chelebi Cave Hotel.
65 Euros a night.
End of the long and eventful day!
