going to share what movies we've watched lately (:

First of all, on 23 Feb..

it's a true story based on Top Ittipat.

Who is he??

- The Tao Kae Noi Seaweed owner.

u should watch how he started from scratch!

a very inspiring movie.

At age 16: obsessed with online games and earn real money by selling virtual game items.

At age 17: failed exams, dropped out of school, started a chestnut business with the name of "Tao Kae Noi". He is super hardworking. went around the chestnus stalls and interviewed the owners on the techniques.

At age 18: dad in a 40 million baht debt.

At age 19:  invested money to purchase seaweeds to fry but keep failing, almost gave up but chanced upon the last packet of seaweed that's soaked in rainwater , end up delicious.

(so heng? must be predestined haha)

Waited for a chance to collaborate with 7-Eleven to sell "Tao Kae Noi" seaweed.

 Opened "Tao Kae Noi"  factory and sold in more than 3000 7-Eleven in Thailand, 

estimated 72000 packets of seaweed.

Within 2 years, he paid off debt of 40 million baht.

Top Ittipat is now 26 years old, earning 800 million baht every year.

He even has a seaweed farm!

say so much, lets see the real Top.

oh, and he has a very supportive uncle that helped him throughout his entrepreneur path,

In the movie the uncle so cute. 

so obedient one. hahaha!

Next, on 24 Feb..

We caught "The Grey"

The typical plane crash into duno where kind of movie,

Shows how the characters fight til the end under harsh conditions but died one by one. :(

have seen quite some movies like such,

but still able to keep me stressed. haha!

quite nice lah.

but why this kind of movie always all die or only one survivor, why cannot have two survivor leh??

On 27 Feb, we caught a movie that girls will like. hehe.

It's "LOVE".

so many shuai ge.

While talking on phone the previous night before sleep,

I expressed my concerns about marriage life in the future.

It was just a random topic all bcos of a random chat with my mom haha.

Then i started to worry about this and that.

and  i said i dont want to grow up. (like i have a choice lol).

fell asleep within 5 mins after we hang up the phone.

Only to see this message from my dearest in the morning. 

Sorry about our mushy mushy.

But this guy here gives me the sense of security and sure knows how to make me smile. (:

We spent our Valentine's 2012 having dinner at Meritus Mandarin.

Unlike our school days where we had the whole day to do other activities,

we only have time for dinner after work now.

Another repurcussion of growing up. haha.

But Valentines day to us is just another simple day like monthsaries,

everyday is just as sweet.

for those in love, you will understand what i mean. (:

so we didnt place much emphasis on gifts and celebration etc.

To us Anniversaries are top occasions to celebrate, followed by Birthdays!

Buffet again!

we keep getting buffet doses these few months,

due to the unlimited occasions to celebrate. 

We didnt have high expectation of this buffet bcos of the not so positive reviews.

But we decided to try it anyway bcos there was 50% off Standard Chartered / 40% DBS + free drink.

Checked out other buffet prices and i think they should go rob the banks. lol.

Triple Three was the so called more worth it and still available choice.

As usual, we go around taking photos of the food as if we're in an exhibition.

This was the biggest buffet we've ever been to.

Talking about the space, its like 3-4 three-room flats?

The spread consists of desserts, seafood, japanese areas, poultry corners, Indian food, Chili Crab, bread and cheese, salad,Teppanyaki and coffee corner.

We didnt manage to take photo of the whole place cos its just too much food to take.

Already cant wait to eat. LOL.

This particular buffet is no.1 on my list :D

The desserts all look so sweet and all of them are my loves.

Strawberry shortcake, fruit tarts, strawberry cheese cake, macaroons, strawberry in white choco dip, pies, pralines, compotes, ice cream,etc.

specially made for Vday, all using strawberries.

I was actually feeling rather stressed that day bcos i still have pending work.

was still thinking if i can enjoy my dinner.

But all that disappeared to Mars when i saw all the desserts.

Rejoice!

To add on to the delight, they actually have Snow Crab!

Didnt expect it.

Immediately adding more points to Triple Three.

Whatsmore, they peel off part of the shell so that it's easier for u to eat. 

every thing just got way better than expectation :D

awww.. Good.

Sausages dont appeal to me in buffets,

but this one's really nice!

I dont know how the vanilla ice cream turned out to tate like Rum n Raisins,

which i hate. lol.

other than that, the rest are like sorbets except for the chocolate flavour.

Surprisingly we didnt take lots of serving for Sashimi.

i think we kept whacking the crab, oyster and desserts. hahahah.

bread corner always got cosy feel hor. haha.

I started with desserts this time.

luckily i did that bcos i was quite full after the 1st serving.

useless tummy. lol.

at least i get to enjoy my desserts.

only managed to take one macaroon, after that went back see no more.

super sad.

Jake designed this.

He take away the strawberry, and put the chocolate pralines to decorate.

nice also? loll.

Triple 3 gave each couple a cupcake :)

i stupid forgot to bring it home. 

took photos in the lobby and left it there.

We were talking half way and i asked him to freeze.

If not wont get smile. lol.

This looked 80% similar to that smile in my memory more than 3 years ago.

That smile which made me fell in love. hahaha.

we dont need that for the snow crab cos it was partially peeled.

This is what we do on a nothing to do weekend.

Nothing to do meaning no outings and no events. haha

nowadays i'm so busy and lazy,

i only blog about events,

but this time i decided to blog about the slacking weekend that were always missed out in this space.

Usually on a Friday night, we will drink milk tea!

From where?

anywhere.

on this particular night, we had these. LOL.

Koi, Gong Cha, DrinkTea.

You name it, we have it.

all gathered at Jurong East Interchange, but Gongcha at Westmall.

fat we know, but aiya.

nv finish in a day la. hehe.

Slept in on Saturday.

So good to sleep in without the alarm!

Had lunch at Jurong East Market.

Chicken rice for us. (:

then we went to a fishshop to look around.

so colourful.

pretty but i pity the fish.

must be human inject colour one. so ke lian :(

Bought these 2 Oscars to add on to the fish tank at pinghome.

$5 each.

Mamashopped and got some old school titbits.

didnt we loved this ice cream before we grew up and upgraded to Haagen Dasz? lol.

Jake's friends would often drop by for MJ or soccer.

Huuuuuuuuu!

other than that will be snuggling in the bed watching movie/drama.

Sundays i will head home for familiy/ or go for tuition lo.

Grandcathay!

Not much storyline but kept me excited for the 1.5hours.

Just nice duration.

Then i saw this sitting in the car.

The Hellokitty series that I've been collecting!

when u move it on the wheels the head moves left and right.

We dont exactly shower each other with gifts on monthsaries.

Jus simple dinner and enjoy each other's company.

It's a little Hellokitty that doesnt cost much cos it comes with Mac Happy meal.

But a big guy like him, went to eat Happy Meal alone to get me that Kitty is something commendable isnt it?

Again #Best Boyfriend 2012.

okay i know very childish lah but let me share my kitty collection.

I'm not a fan of hellokitty but i think the series quite cute leh.

keep for my future kids. lol!

you touch its head, it will nod for a while.

i want to put this in my future car.

if i were to have? hhahaa.
