Went to visit Carpenter and Cook after dinner.

We ordered coffee, peppermint tea and scone.

Peppermint tea was nothing more than adding grass into hot water.

I am a mint lover and the tea disappointed me big time,

even teabags from NTUC tasted better. 

Sorry maybe I dunno how to appreciate!

Scone, cannot be compared to the ones at Tea Party (Bukit Timah).

Coffee lover Jake didn't like the coffee.

But I'll give credits to the vintage decor. :)

Sunday outing to Qian Hu.

My dear is a like a little boy.

One of his fishes passed way and he kept wanting to buy a new fish. lol.

On our way. hehe.

Happy liao lor.

Went home with 2 fishes.

Oasis Taiwan Porridge near Toa Payoh Stadium.

Boyfriend likes to eat there because of the fresh cockles.

Very good!

But it's pricey for jus a few dishes like that, 

Cost us $20+.

I like the porridge, very fine, very hot, and it's free flow!

Patisserie G at Millenia Walk.

Not bad but it's not somewhere we may repeat,

Cos we preferred sponge cake more than mousse. hehe.

Buy ice cream also got story.

That's why we dont get bored.

BORACAY- DAY FIVE.

Woke up for the hotel breakfast and got ready to check out.

Before we did, must snap some shots here and there lol.

And ready to go!

Took a cab and headed to Greenbelt,

as recommended by the hotel staffs for cheap shopping.

Saw a truck with pigs locked up!

So ke lian..

Wanted to take photo but the camera focused on the droplets instead -.-

It was drizzling..

Manila.

Lunch at Jollibee.

No need to queue at Lucky Plaza in SG hehe.

Hungry birds..

Greenbelt was a waste of time!

Nothing nice to buy,

i guess its up to own preference,

maybe we had different taste from the staffs who recommended Greenbelt. lol

Worse still,

it wasn't near to our hotel and we were caught in a jam otw back!

Grabbed our luggage and caught in another jam otw to airport.

Jake and I took a cab while the rest of them went in the other.

It was a bad bad jam,

the cab driver tried to take a short cut and ended up in that short road for 30 minutes.

STRESSED.

our flight was at 8pm.

The rest reached first, so they tried to check in their luggage to stall for time.

Nonetheless, we couldn't escape the fate of missing our flight bcos our cab was way too late! :(

So there, the 6 of us, stranded.

Tried to book our next flight home.

Waste money!

When we settled the flight and about to have dinner,

we found out that the one and only restaurant in Manila airport was closed.

Bad.

We thought that the luggages will be transported back first and be left at Changi airport.

But aiyo come back Singapore then we realise,

they off load the luggages becos we didn't board the flight!

So the luggages took abit more time before they came home. :(

Somemore Haiyan hit Manila,

lengthened the processing time!

Fortunately we came home 2 days before the typhoon.

Next time if something like that happen again,

please inform the staff that you did not board the plane.

Get them to transfer the luggages to your next flight!

Some airport employee told us about the airport LOUNGE.

You know how happy to hear that?

Cos that means food and a comfy place to rest.

our next flight was 6 hours later.

Come on is this the LOUNGE?

we cant help but keep laughing at what we saw,

despite the plight that we were in lol.

machiam ferry terminal.

only sell cup noodles, some bread, rubbish snacks and drinks.

Sad Max.

Resort World Manila was our last hope.

Wanted to take the free shuttle,

but we were told that we can only take the shuttle if we got the member card.

Hello this is our first time there.

How is it possible to have the card?

Somemore the transport was in the aiport,

isnt it meant for tourist??

This don't make no sense.

Tried to hire a private cab,

but they just let us wait and wait,

super reluctant to serve us.

Super bad experience.

Ran into a kind hearted security guard,

who managed to get us onto the free shuttle.

Many thanks to this kind soul.

Waited for a while before the shuttle bus make its way to Resorts World.

Tired and hungry us.

We shared the biscuit that we got from the domestic flight. 

Didnt even give this a second look when we were on the plane,

it became a treasure in down times. lolol.

Finally reached RSM.

Very nice but no food!

Almost all eateries were closed,

only left the trustworthy Macdonald's. lol

Well, it was a good meal for stranded people. haha!

Made our way back to the airport,

had short blinks while waiting for our flight.

BORACAY - DAY FOUR

Rise and shine at 530am because we got a domestic flight to catch at 10+am.

Need about 4 hours to travel to the airport,

just in case there's no boat/ or jam / any unforeseen circumstances.

Again need to take the land transport to ferry terminal, 15 mins ferry ride, 2 hours mini bus ride.

Sunrise is about 530am in Boracay.

Our breakfast, mini cup noodles from the Budget Mart!

They have lots of these.

Morning sleepy swollen face with my not-nice vitamin drink.

Only tasted it after taking this photo lol.

At the ferry terminal.

We boarded the ferry by crossing a thin wooden plank.

so scary.

luckily the crew helped to carry our luggage,

with abit of tips hehe.

On the ferry. :)

Then that's when things became not so smooth.

We reached the airport, only to findout that our flight has been changed to 3pm,

meaning we were early by 4 hours. oh man.

They did emailed us a flight schedule change weeks ago, but didnt state the change in time. 

Then they emailed again at 3+am the night before.

What the heck, if only I checked the email before leaving Tanawin.

So we kept eating and drinking at the airport lounge nearby.

Not a fantastic place, 

but still decent, considering the space and aircon.

Something like a cafe.

Sipping milkshake and reading my magazine.

dream holiday lol.

Finally on Philippines Airline.

SGD35 per pax.

 Arrived in Manila Airport,

took 2 cabs to get us to the hotel.

The rooms are pretty decent at SGD60 per night.

We got upgraded to a junior suite because there weren't enough deluxe room.

Not too bad right? hehe.

Headed to the famous restaurant in Philippines - Wingman.

Boyfriend was super excited to give this a try.

Took a cab again.

Basically we travel by Cab in Manila, not expensive. 

Ranked #2 out of 879 restaurants in Makati.

Best Buffalo wings!

Hence it's a must-try :D

I'll just focus on the wings.

There are different flavours, different levels of spiciness.

Cheesy and I forgot what, it's some tangy flavour.

Mild and Hot. 

Mango something and Inferno.

Looko at the chilli seeds for Inferno, only for the brave!

Jake and Baolong said since we were already there, must try the Inferno what.

So the group took up the courage.

Both of them so funny.

They took a bite each, with no reaction..

after a few seconds, felt hot until ear pain. lol

So spicy haha.

Clearly my boy is enjoying his food.

Headed to Glorietta after dinner for some shopping,

but the mall was closing when we alighted! omg so sad.

We asked the guard to let us in to at least get a few Krispy Kreme.

lol so ke lian right,

cannot return hotel with empty hands ma :p

Yummy and fatty!

They gave us complimentary original glaze for every purchase.

So that's double carbo. hoho.

A mini gathering in the hotel and we called it a day.

Few of us falling sick from the lack of rest and water haha.
