and it's finally our Bali Trip! :D
Air ticket was S$54 each, hotel i think S$30 each for 2 nights.
We go budget hehs.
DAY ONE, 23 Jan 2011.
stayed over at Ping house the night before,
had breakfast with Ping family and ping papa drove us to the airport.
Ready to check in.
While waiting for Flight VF541, 135pm.
got approached by the airport staff to complete an airport excellence survey,
which comes with a complimentary pen.
Take note of that question..

our response abit funny.
duno they see le will laugh not lol.
boarded the plane,
played the song 'Rocketeer',

Feel like sleeping.
for the first time, we ordered some drinks on board.
Although we know very ex, but wanted to try the feel. lols!
after a while they provided us with muffins haha, didnt expect it.
Rushed down the plane,
chionged and checked in to Tune Hotel at Kuta.
Why chiong?
bcos we wanted to catch the sunset,
sunset dinner by the beach. :D
very romantic place to be with ur love.
We loveeeee these.
so windy, and we actually forgot to apply insect repellent before coming out of the hotel.
haha, too rush!
luckily no mosquito.
as it turns dark.
there was a live band singing at other tables,
and i got yanyan singing live to me.
so sweet that i could melt.
we ended up ordering so much drinks.
bcos all were not nice except for the coke which was normal.
the bill came up to be Rp560 ooo.
we kena chop carrot head! :(
but nvm dun think abt it le.
It was raining the whole night. -.-
Bathed and went out for some shopping,
but end up dirty again.
the roads and pavement were so cramp and uneven.
plus the rain..omg how i dread walking around.
my umbrella spoil! :(
had KFC for supper, but not nice.
DAY TWO, 24 Jan 2011.
We slept for 9hours.
omg who sleeps for so long while they are overseas luh! hahahahs.
Walked for almost half an hour before we can find some cheap food.
Finally there's one bali style cafe,
they save electricity man the whole cafe was superrr dark.
But luckily food not bad.
i miss this mee goreng. only Rp 15000 so cheap.
yanyan's bali fish curry, not nice. Rp 15000 also.
ice lemon tea and sprite, Rp 5000 each. yums.
but the ice tea took abit long to come eh.
Rushed back to the hotel.
totally COATED ourselves with thick sunblock and insect repellent.
All ready for rafting.
We got an email telling us that they will pick us up at 1230pm-1pm.
We booked the Rafting tour with Bali Adventure Tours.
Afternoon rafting for abt S$55.
includes transportation to and fro, but no buffet lunch.
the morning radfting cost USD 23 more.
We waited at the lobby for 2 hours my goodness.
We thought they will nvr come.
it was raining somemore.
duno how many times they told us 10 more mins.
either jam or go wrong hotel aiyo..
angry.
the results of 2 hours rotting at the lobby..
Wait until my sunblock also wear off le.
Finally they picked us up.
it was a long long drive, about 1.5hr.
went pass some rural area.
the roads were so narrow, somemroe got hole!
Singapore's one lane = Bali's two lane.
Hoping to get some fun later on...
We reached the rafting centre at 430pm.
and we were told that we couldnt raft for the day anymore cos it was too late!
they were afraid that the driver wouldnt be able to see the road on the way back.
So we could decide if we want to come back the next day,
they will give us free buffet lunch plus ensure that we can be back to hotel by 230pm to catch our flight.
and that's that.
We are going back on the next day.
it means that it's another 1.5 hour drive back to Kuta,
and my whole day will be wasted,
plus the plans on our last day will be ruined.
OMG FUMING MAD until i cry.
Reached Kuta at 7pm. like hello!?! 12-7pm wasted, 7 hours!!!
3 days 2 night already not enough,
still 7 hours wasted.
All that driver's fault what was wrong with him man why come so late in the first place!
now i think of it, also feel angry. lol.
As the shops all close at 10pm,
we decided to make good use of our 3 hours.
and we did.
Horse carriage to the seafood centre.
Actually it was very near,
but i insisted on trying the horse carriage. haha!
Rp 70 000.
the horse like so obedient hor?
i find them ke lian, stand whole day.
the person controlling the horse also funny..
Yan: How much

Yan: very near only 80 000 can
him: ok la 70 000
Weird, pple give him higher price he wan lower,
think he heard wrongly lol.
but then, still expensive la! no choice for the experience hehe.
we knew that we got chopped again.
ji kok ji kok. hahahha
happy!
reached the eating place in less than 5 mins.
the cars also have to wait for horses. funny leh.
We were taken aback by the stall owners' response when we stepped into the food centre.
All of them waving their menus,
some of the trying to shout in mandarin,
trying so hard to get our attention so that we will patronise them.
it feels like we're standing in the middle of a stage,
then the people surrounding us applauding lol.
After a while, we found out that it's their 'custom'. haha.
decided on this stall,
becos we saw the chinese words lol.
Rp200,000.
includes crab, small lobster, prawns, squid, fish, clam, fries.
very hot.
it rained and we carried all the food into the shelter.
was sitting outside initially.
The food centre was divided into 2 sections,
outside gets more of the business when it's not raining,
but tables are turned when it rained. haha.
look at the mess lol.
The dinner was Rp263,000 in total.
Shopped super fast for our souvenirs.
And then past this massage palour.
Balinese full body massage for 1 hour before we end our day.
Rp90 000 each.
Back to hotel for some face mask.
and thats all for the day.
DAY THREE, 25 Jan 2011.
Woke up at 6plus am.
Went for mac breakfast.
Hotcakes so hard. like shit. Rp26 700.
Rp ??? forgot.
chicken ok, dear says sausage mcmuffin abit weird lol.
Hit the beach for a very very short time.
was rushing back to the hotel.
dear says this pic got alot of 'feel'. haha
he finally got to touch the water,
but only for like 1 min.

Rushed back to the hotel.
Coated ourselves with the creams again.
A private car came to pick us up at 8am sharp.
All for us.
Luckily Bali Adventure Tours knows how to make us happy.
if not i going to write complain letter and lousy reviews already.

and then i fell slp. irritating yan took this pic.
and then i woke and i saw the padi fields.
Long drive and finally we reached!
back to the same place.
Fully equipped!
Took some 400 flights down the stairs to some kind of valley,
where the starting point is.
We got wobbly and legs shaking like earthquake. lol.
We were briefed on some commands and safety measures,
and off we went, Ayung River!
Ayung- means beautiful, so it's beautiful river. haha.
5 pple plus 1 instructor in our team.
there was a kid on board.
didnt expect the drama to happen on our raft!
the kid's papa fell off the raft cos the force was too strong.
omg scary, the river was rather quick and very rocky,
his body brushed against a super big rock, lost his slippers and pedal.
our instructor threw away his pedal to save him.
very dramatic but luckily no one was hurt.
stopped halfway for rest.
this kind of places we only saw on tv. lol
got some villagers selling drinks in the middle of nowhere.
pocari sweat Rp20,000.
coconut! Rp20 000.
All wet.
another 400 steps back.
my leg almost cramped.
stopped occasionally for breaks.
nice view.
washed up and had our buffet lunch.
but no time to eat alot,
we got to rush for our flight.
The private driver very nice,
still drove us to Ubud for the Luwak Coffee,
best in the world leh.
They made it from the coffee bean that came out of Luwak's poop.
eww but it's the best.
Rp 171,000 for the coffee, Rp76,000 each for the choc.
i love the choc to bits.
it's dark choc 70% cocoa, when u bite u will bite the coffee bean.
the coffee smell lingers even after a while.
though we were rushing for time,
we still purposely want to squeeze time to get a green tshirt from a stall near our hotel. lol!
rushed to bargain..
and then off we went for Denpasar airport.
huo gai if we miss flight again lol.
Bali so special, got to pay tax when u leave one! :(
Rp150,000 each person, who will left so much money sia.
wanted to pay in SGD, the custom person say S$30 each.
yanyan: eh but we convert Rp150,000, it's only abt SGD22, why 30??
Custom: Sorry we not money changer here.

in the end we went to a nearby money changer,
if not 2 person let them earn S$16 more.
they smart we also not stupid.
but i nearly gave him S$60, is i stupid, yanyan smart. lol.
waiting for flight VF542, 450pm.
luckily can go back to SG without missing our flight. haha.
