DAY 1.

KL trip with friends!

At KL airport.

From Left to Right:

Eric, Delvin, Liwen, Sharol, Lifen, Baolong, MYMY, Gerald.

It was a trip full of hiccups.

Why?

1. Eric almost couldnt make it becos he had itchy rashes the night before & had to see a doc. If he cant come, Sharol (his gf) may not join as well. That's 2 men down! But luckily he was able to make eventually.

2. Edwin's passport expired by ONE day! Jetstar die also wont let him have the boarding pass. No choice end up Pauline (his gf) accompanied him to ICA for passport renewal, after which they took a coach to meet us later. That explains why both of them are not in the above picture.

3. Almost got stopped at the Malaysia custom because the officer chopped on the observation page for Eric's passport. Spent some time clarifying.

It was a 5.50am flight, havent had breakfast.

So we munched on our rubbish snacks. hehehe

Got to take a bus to KL Central for breakfast.

Had maggi goreng/curry chicken/prata at this Indian stall.

Dear & I wanted to take the group to the stall we tried last time..the teh-o very nice one..

But seems to have moved.

So we settled for this stall.

Weather was hot and seats were cramped. :(

The stall was right beside Old Town..

Went in to chillax.

Everyone was tired cos didnt really sleep.

Woke up at 3+ am for airport check in.

All the suitable timing bus tickets were sold out.

No choice must take cab.

Tried to ask for cab at KL central bus station.

Our 4th hiccup.

Some highlights-

Taxi uncle: RM120 go up to Genting, we use coupons standard price.

Us: Few months ago we hail from outside, RM90 only go First World

Taxi uncle: ok, RM90. U all split 2 cabs, 4 + 5, 5 people i give u big cab

End up see the cab, almost same size..where got bigger, so we decided to split 3 by 3. total 9 of us.

Taxi uncle drove us to cable car station.

Taxi uncle: Reach already

Us: Huhh thought First world Hotel?

Taxi uncle: No RM90 only can come here

Us: Jus now you say RM120 go hotel, i say RM90 u say ok, u nv tell us come Cable car station.

Taxi uncle: is it? i dont know! Jus now not i negotiate, u call your friends and ask.

So we called the other 2 cabs, which subsequently came to the same place.

Feel so cheated so we tried to bargain.

Us: ok, since you all nv say properly, can minus RM18( RM6 cable care fare x3) from the cab fare?

Taxi uncle: No cannot, need to pay RM25 toll

Us: but we saw the toll only RM7, to & fro only RM14, can u tell me how u get RM25??

Taxi uncle: No i never say RM25!

Ming ming jiu you say RM25..9 pairs of ear heard it. wth.

Didnt wan to waste time arguing with him

Us: ok nvm..but next time if it's RM120 pls say beforehand to your customers.dont mislead people. This is ethics.

We paid RM90 per cab and went to take Cable car at RM6 each.

5th Hiccup.

Pauline was the one who booked First World Hotel.

Without her, we cant check in!!

We still thought we can nap a while before casino.

Now half day gone.

It was only abt noon time, Edwin & Pauline only reached at 6+pm.

Super tired omg.

Worst thing is,

We can actually check in using our own passports one lo,

cos some of the rooms booked under our names.

alamak the hotel staff nv say!! :((

Only found out when we check in in the evening.

GREAT.

Went for lunch!

I like the wings & 4 season beans :D

The rest were so so.

Then we went Casino to kill time.

Finally got to hotel room for a quick bath before dinner.

Went to eat at the food court.

Super fullll.

The familiar gu huo zai shot?

Compare with our part 1,  lol.

almost same people, same position. hahah

Casino again till 2am.

My Mr Jake is a winner again!

he won about SGD100. lolol.

I also winner ok.

RM15, one cup of starbucks. hehehe.

DAY 2.

Cab down from Genting to KL hotel.

We stayed at Sunbow Residency.

Had lunch at Dragon-i Restaurant, Pavilion.

Dim sum and Ramen!

Initially wanted to have the Dimsum at Shanghai Restaurant JW Mariott KL.

But no more by the time we reached there.

It is said to have the best dim sum in KL.

So sad, next time must try!

Walked around and chanced upon this milkshake store on our way to Sungei Wang.

Shopped around and went to buy cake from Secret Recipe.

Surprised Delvin because his birthday was coming in a few days' time.

Had Foot massage nearby our hotel with the girls, Baolong and Edwin.

The rest were in the hotel playing poker/sleeping.

My first foot massage hehe. so good.

Too bad Jake wasnt with me, he dont like foot massage lol.

Late dinner at Jalan Alor.

It's our must-go everytime we go KL.

Then had second round at PappaRich.

Another must-go!

Look at these 2 uncles. LOL.

DAY 3.

Had brunch at PappaRich again before we headed to the airport.

Paparazzi at his work again.

Guess who is the Paparazzi?

hahaha!
