Our 4th Anniversary!
It started with a seafood buffet at Checkers Brasserie, Hilton Hotel.
Best buffet for seafood lovers!
My dear boy almost teared on looking at the extensive range haha.
There are seafood where you can order, and the chef will grill or cook for you.
Some of the seafood that we can find on that night are stingrays, seabass, salmon, crab, tiger prawns, lala, gong gong, sotong, bamboo clams, crayfish.
Then on the fresh seafood corner is my favourite Alaskan Snow crab, scallops, crayfish, oysters.
Some other which i didnt notice cos i only got eyes for the snow crab lol.
Sashimi corner they have salmon, yellowtail, something that looks like pacific clams but is not, and big scallops!
Even the tempuras are made of seafood.
Dessert was very little for a reason.
The focus was on seafood.
Look at the spread.
We were so greedy..
Ordered so much even the chef got to help us shift the things on the table to accommodate all the food. lol!

As it's also dear's birthday month,
there is UOB cards 15% discount (usual is 10%),
and a 0.5kg complimentary cheescake.
The cheese cake is awesome!
Bill came up to be $67 per person.
Do note that the seafood buffet is only available on Fridays!
As our actual day is on Saturday..
dearest kept it a mystery as to where he was going to bring me.
He said he really racked his brain and did some research.
We took MRT to Raffles Place.
And walked to Fullerton Hotel area.
Took some photos with nice view of Singapore..
And the mystery revealed.
He wants to bring me here.
Anderson Bridge.
Do you know the history behind this bridge?
It was built in 1910 to reduce the traffice over at the Cavenagh Suspension Bridge. In the past, the Anderson Bridge is a popular hotspot for lovers. On the chinese Valentines day, Single men and women throw apples or oranges in the water in search of their ideal partners. When lovers got tired, they will rest on the benches or share a meal from the street hawker. It is said that throwing some rose petals into the water will hold the promise of eternal love.
How true is that?
We dont know.
But childish enough to believe it. hahaha.
Went to get some rose petals from Beauty World, where we had lunch earlier on.
