Bit's Birthday Trip.
TAIWAN-DAY THREE-PART 2/2.
After spending 2-3 hours at the Green Green Grassland..
it's our turn to feed. hahaha.
How we love Taiwan Sausage.
the "大肠" is actually glutinous rice in sausage wrap.

Had the mushroom on way to 后山.
we were told that 后山 has beautiful scenery, and that we can walk back to the resort from there.
Indeed.
If only we came earlier..
there are cherry blossom trees at the side.
Super many sheeps.
We took quite some time to walk,
stopping occasionally for the scenery.
We often go too fast in our lives..
and forget to stop/ see the beautiful things around us.
Can really sit here, look at the mountains, think of nothing. :)
Enjoying the nature.

Got drawn to this shop because of that cute thing, round round one.
it's actually 肚脐饼, very nice!
taste abit like suncake, but softer..
filled with salted egg custard instead of malt candy.
see la, buy more food again..luggage no space. -.-
Finally back to resort after walking for 1hr+.
Legs nearly give way!

It's actually a hotel/resort, but the rooms are at abt SGD600 per night on average.
so we opted for high tea instead..
can go in and take photos. lol.
High tea for 2!
cannot smile bcos he dont like high tea.
go for the sake of exploring the place lol.

Back to resort to wait for our mini van..
the resort arranged it for us at TWD350 per pax.
While waiting..

Driver: 350 是到台中高铁，到饭店要400.
Us: (Jake preparing to take out one more 100 note)
Driver: 没关系不用了,既然老板搞错了就算了. (Took TWD350/per pax)
Taiwanese so 老实!
They are not out to chop money like you-know-where.
Again, we had very good impression of Taiwanese. :D
We stayed at Tomato Room.
Cant find the hostel so we asked for directions.
These 2 Taiwanese girls so helpful!
They held on to my file for the address..led us the way and tried to find the place together with us.
I cant tell you how 热心 they are and how touched we felt as tourists.

Rested for a while and headed out to Feng Jia Night Market!

This chicken cube stall,
they have a cute slogan when the chicken is ready.
It was windy that night! coldd.
Clockwise: Smelly toufu, lok lok, soup, fishball
Clockwise: Massaged Chicken (the chicken breast taste like thigh. super tender), Scallops, BBQ prawn.
As you can see, we had so much food that I suffered from Indigestion wahahha.
Had to take Gaviscon.
Heng I went prepared. hehe.
